Vinyl windows and fiberglass doors will not rot after exposure to heat, rain, or humidity, offering peace of mind and minimal maintenance. Impact-rated windows and doors can also offer peace of mind during hurricane season or any other extreme weather event. Since they are impact-rated, there is no need to worry about installing other means of protection, such as hurricane shutters or OSB, saving you the time, money and hassle it would normally take to install.

Windows

One of the primary benefits of replacing your windows is taking advantage of the many different energy efficient options that are now available. All of our windows are energy rated for our region, meaning that they meet the “South Central” climate zone requirements from ENERGY STAR, helping to lower your heating and cooling costs throughout the year. Living in the Lowcountry, we also recommend investing in impacted-rated windows. For example, Simonton’s StormBreaker Plus windows are specially designed for coastal living and meet or exceed standards for impact-resistance in our area.
